I realize it's just that I know that priest is an ambitious JJWXC writer herself, but the part where we get the editor's mental spiel about her writers felt really personal. I do really like how this book generally has a more personal and thoughtfully characterized take on forums and internet comment culture.

Re: Crayon - I always suspected her to be the counselor's student (just bc she seemed too important to be anyone we hadn’t met, and Miao Miao's sister didn't seem intellectual enough), but totally got misdirected when they revealed her to be Snowskin. It didn’t occur to me that she could have 2 accounts haha. Interesting!!!

I totally missed that the days didn't match up in the last "entries" lol. The suggestion that the book might have been written by several people gave me goosebumps... I hope the real Tang Guo is okay!!!

I also love the more "procedural"/mystery-solving aspects with Miao Miao, maybe because they're much easier to read, and maybe because this PoV spells things out for me. The DMs add another fun layer of interaction! The book seems to be picking up the pace with the mysteries aaaaaaaaAAAaaaaah

Every time you update about this novel, I think "wow this sounds like such an interesting novel!" (It does, I am very interested in Internet culture tbh!)

It's an interesting take on the webnovel + forum format! But also it needs all of the content warnings /o\ But I guess if you made it through Modu, you can make it through this one. ^^;
