JJWXC 21st Anniversary Video ft. (Mostly) Danmei Authors

It's the 21st anniversary of JJWXC's founding, so the platform released four videos of its various (I assume sufficiently big name) authors delivering congratulatory messages. All the danmei authors (plus one baihe author) seem to have been put into a single video. The link to the video on Weibo is here. Seriously, someone should do a PhD project about webnovelists and their cats, it would be the most adorable one ever.

Random thought — have we got enough material for a themed discussion on cats/pets generally in c-novels? Can't remember if that's been proposed already!

PhD thesis: Many pictures of cats, cats, more cats! (I'm sure those images can be justified!)

Oh, that'll be a fun discussion. What are your thoughts? Sharing fav cnovel cats/cnovel pets? Or critiquing characterization of cats/pets? (or both, we can do both...)

adding: discussion the function of the pet to the plot maybe? cute pets only, or actual plot point, etc.

I have a topic lined up for this week, but we can do cats in two weeks!
