Date: 2025-12-31 06:10 pm (UTC)My company went to a used bookstore and came back with vol 1 of My Husband And I Sleep In A Coffin, and I read the first few chapters and immediately bought my own on alibris. Date: 2025-12-31 07:06 pm (UTC)I finished reading the Chinese manhua of Copper Coins by Mu Su Li.
This morning I also sat down and read the first page of Daomu Biji in Chinese and the first page of Global Examination in Chinese. It... didn't help me decide which to tackle at all, lmao. I found DMBJ a bit easier to read - the grammar was more structured and the vocabulary was closer to my knowledge - but I also love QQGK and I'm prepared to work through it being a little more difficult for me. I'm too indecisive. So I made a Tumblr poll. I'll read whichever wins. So far that's looking like DMBJ.
If anyone feels like voting... https://www.tumblr.com/duckprintspress/804462647350280192/i-am-indecisive-so-i-am-outsourcing-making-a?source=share

Date: 2026-01-01 01:57 pm (UTC)I'm starting the new year with a light-hearted showbiz danmei novel: Reborn As The Villain President's Lover (η©Ώζεζ΄Ύζ»θ£ε°ζ δΊΊ) by Lin Ang Si (ζηεΈ). There is a bit of talks about driving and cars as the Chinese euphemism for sex, though not as much as what Lin Ang Si did in their later novel, The Cannon Fodder Just Wants To Be A Toolman (η·ι εͺζ³εε·₯ε ·δΊΊ). I don't think I could look at sports cars the same way again...
