Almost done with The Frozen Player Returns, which is a Korean tower climbing webnovel that is very transparent about its murim/wuxia (and maybe xianxia? not sure if there is a knovel equivalent to that) influences, even before they got to the cyberpunk murim floor.
It took me a while to get into it, but then I realized that for the first arc at least, the main character is like that particular type of video game player who prioritizes all the side quests until accidentally triggering a main quest, and then quietly goes back to completing side quests. [My friend comment on this after telling her this insight: "oh, so it is like the way you played Dragon Age right?"]
The ending arc seems like it will be rushed, but still really enjoying the novel.
