I'm reading this translation over in CG and it is so bad. There's no way a danmei novel would read like a dry technical manual. I'd be pissed if I was the author; not for piracy but that my novel is so badly presented in English.

👀 Oh no! I'm always a bit disappointed when good novels have translations that are lacking. How can they be shared with friends like this? 🥲 It would be so much worse for authors if they knew! (What's the title of this novel?)

I can DM you if you want to know. I don't want to publicly shame anyone but MTL shouldn't be shared as if it's a translation by a person.

CG has some rather suspect QC... some of them do sound like technical manual or just a first pass super rough translation, alas.

I'm not sure they do QC. Many translations they host are clearly MTL but are not labelled as such. Worse, these same people ask for money in the form of donations.
