Still incredibly tired from my trip, but feeling much more human today after sleeping a lot yesterday and the day before... Hope everyone is doing well!

(Pro-tip: Scheduling [on average] four meetings a day with different people every day, for four days, is incredibly draining especially after a three days train trip! who knew!)

I just finished writing up the reviews for five of 妄鸦 (Wang Ya)'s danmei novels: Evening Snow (晚来天欲雪), Would You Like to Have a Drink (能饮一杯无), Director of a Suspense Film (悬疑片导演), Arrival (降臨), and Thriller Trainee (惊悚练习生). I've posted the reviews on my DW blog if anyone is interested: link.

I've not touched books except for poetry collections recently. Been practicing drawing, begrudgingly studying for exams (physics, the bane of my existence), being frustrated yet charmed by said poetry.

Oh and also impatiently waiting for Honkai Star Rail to update because I'm enamored with a certain cat thief.

I'm reading this translation over in CG and it is so bad. There's no way a danmei novel would read like a dry technical manual. I'd be pissed if I was the author; not for piracy but that my novel is so badly presented in English.

I'm currently lounging in a starbucks because the train spat us all out one stop from my destination station 🤣 this particular station has a track record of air-con breakdowns resulting in smoke on the platform, so I got out of there asap LOL. Idly reading a book by Wang Li on metre in chinese poetry on the ereader, but I really want to go home and sleep.
