We're starting a read-along of Miss Forensics over on the baihe comm. It's the first five chapters this week!

It's a reread for me, and so far the protagonist is continuing to remind me of what Jane Austen said about Emma: 'I am going to take a heroine whom no one but myself will much like'.

I'm happy that my library system how has more of Meng Xi Shi's books on Libby (there seems to be some some sort of waiting period before they get listings on there - for a while the only one on there was volume 1 of Thousand Autumns).

In non cnovel reading, I'm halfway through the new biography of Charles Sumner which I'm finding interesting.

I've got library cards for five different systems (a bunch of Ohio libraries let you get digital cards for ebooks if you're a resident), which is really helpful when I'm looking for stuff.

Not much goin' on for me, BUT I am happy that I'm finally making progress on a non-C-novel item on my TBR, and I'm hoping that I can carry that momentum through a couple others I've been procrastinating. I've interspersed the c-novels on my TBR, all of which I'm much more excited for than the non-c-novels, with the other books, so I just gotta make progress. I've got Lip and Sword and Yuwu coming up...
