What a chapter!
Oh good they were able to flee! I hope Bao Xiruo isn‘t too heavily injured.
Ugh Ouyang Ke, what a bastard. He should call his “students” concubines and not pretend they are smething they are not. Ah, I see they are called concubines on the next page.
Love how Huang Rong is clever enough to get out of the strange game in the circle.
I really want to know Huang Rong‘s bavkground
Oh Guo Jing really has the worst luck, down into the ground we go! Ooh and a new character!
Oh no. Is it Mei Chaofeng???? I mean we know she escaped from a fight injured. And she hasn‘t turned up so far. The more I read about how she fights the surer I am.
IT IS HER!!!!
Oooh flashback time! I appreciate getting this very detailed backstory! And there‘s a lot of lovely poetry too.
Also, what a great romp of a novel! Highly recommend it. I can‘t wait for part 2.
