SVSSS & MDZS transparent PNGs

I got frustrated with the lack of transparent PNGs available for SVSSS, so set to making some myself, plus a few for MDZS.

- 7seas vols 1 & 2 illustrations
- 7seas vols 3 & 4 illustrations
- Russian edition illustrations
- Misc. bonus materials
- MDZS (7seas incense burner illustration, 7seas LWJ punishment illustration, manga vol 2 cover, & a couple of chibis)

The main reason I started making the transparents in the first place was to make covers for the fanfics I'd downloaded as epubs (mainly MDZS & SVSSS), so I'll share those as well, in case anyone is interested.

review: Don’t Pick Up Boyfriends from the Trash Bin by Qi Jing Nan Qu

Took me a moment but I finally finished Trash Boyfriends. My (long) thoughts are on my journal, as usual:

Don’t Pick Up Boyfriends from the Trash Bin by Qi Jing Nan Qu

In many ways very heavy and disturbing book but I really liked the main pair and how their relationship slowly evolved over time.

I'm also curious if any of you have favourite love confessions/expressions of love that do not use the words, "love" or "like". This question came up in one of the discord servers I am in, and I thought it was fun to see people's responses!

Danmei Authors, Now in 3D

Sat, 22 Aug 2026 23:45:33 GMT

JJWXC had its semi-regular authors' conference on 22 August and they pulled out a lot of stops,* including getting a bunch of fairly big-name authors to show up in person.

Here are some (most?) of the danmei authors who attended the conference (via this helpful fan on Weibo):

Top row, left to right: Wu Zhe, Zhi Chu, Man Man He Qi Duo
Middle row, left to right: Mo Chen Huan, Lü Ye Qian He, Tian Hua Fang
Bottom row, left to right: San Qian Feng Xue, Chun Feng Yao, Sang Wo.

Mu Gua Huang and Huai Shang also attended via videolink.

To Embers We Return (Volume 1) Epub

Wed, 19 Aug 2026 21:57:33 GMT

Posted by: douqi

For Qixi this year, I put together an epub for the first arc (the first 36 chapters) of my fan translation of To Embers We Return! The text has gone through a further round of edits and revisions, and it features amazing cover art from skuzzybunny. Get the epub here from the main page or directly from here. It's 160k+ words in total, so a decent chunk of book (if I do say so myself). I'm posting subsequent chapters as I finish them, but am also planning to compile the second arc into epub form, which should hopefully be available around this time next year.

Also did another very minor project, which was putting up some Embers-related notes and ideas on AO3 here.
