Eager to hear where you eventually land on The Imperial Uncle! I loved it but it's a bit divisive and I wasn't quite sure how I felt about it until some time after reading.

I've now finished aside from a couple of the extras (it's a quick read) and I loved it. However I had somehow been under the impression it was a comedy and it really wasn't! Whole situation was really depressing honestly especially when you see it as a repeating cycle, generation to generation. Glad our guy got out!
