I do like the customer of the week/story of the week format ala xxxholic/mushishi/Natsume. Will check out!

And lol, yao as fairies is so weird. So many things get translated into "fairies"...

Mushishi has been forever on my to-watch but I would actually (loosely) compare Ya She to xxxHolic and Bai Yao Pu to Natsume! The MC in Bai Yao Pu is closer to Reiko than Natsume. XD

Watch mushishi, yes!!! It's so good. Def top 10 anime for me. It has a certain vibe that's hard to find in others.
