That artist has made several don't pick up boyfriends fan animatics and I'd suggest to check out all of them (there will be spoilers if you haven't finished the story though). I am a big fan of her art style! On a side note, I find it absolutely hilarious that the nickname for the fandom (as seen from the animatic) is simply "trash bin" (垃圾桶). But I suppose the title does not leave fans with lots of options...
I'd love to write a bit about TW danmei but probably after I read more of them, so I can make some more informed observations regarding the trends. Right now I think the main observations I have is that TW danmei is:
much shorter (more slice-of-life than plot-heavy)
more likely to incorporate social ideologies (like having a main couple who are omega rights activists in an a/b/o story)
contains a lot more NSFW content (since NSFW is not censored in Taiwan as long as it's properly rated)
I did finish the novel I mentioned (倦鳥之歌) and absolutely enjoyed it. I will probably end up writing a review for it one day.
